1. About this policy
This policy applies to the QuickerBar website and the QuickerBar Chrome extension. In this policy, “QuickerBar”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of QuickerBar.com.
QuickerBar adds workflow tools to QuickBooks Online and Xero. It is not part of, endorsed by or operated by Intuit or Xero.
2. Information we may process
- Extension settings: preferences, enabled features and other configuration needed to provide the service.
- Recent-item information: limited details used to show recent customers, suppliers and transactions when that feature is enabled.
- Accounting-page content: information visible in QuickBooks Online or Xero that must be read or changed to perform an action you request, such as preparing a transaction summary or duplicating transaction lines.
- Support information: details you choose to include in a bug report, feature request or help request.
- Technical information: basic website logs, browser type, extension version, diagnostic details and error information used for security and troubleshooting.
Please do not include passwords, payment-card details, bank credentials or unnecessary customer data in a support request.
3. How information is used
We use information only as needed to provide and improve QuickerBar, save your chosen settings, sync eligible Pro settings when you enable that feature, diagnose problems, respond to requests, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations.
QuickerBar does not sell personal information or use accounting data for advertising.
4. Storage and syncing
Where possible, extension settings and working data are kept in your browser. If you choose a browser-sync or QuickerBar Pro sync feature, eligible settings may be transmitted and stored so they are available on your other signed-in devices.
QuickerBar does not ask for your QuickBooks Online or Xero password. Sign-in and account access remain with the relevant platform.
5. Sharing and service providers
Information may be processed by service providers that support hosting, extension distribution, email, diagnostics or settings sync. They may use it only to provide those services or meet their legal obligations. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights and security, or as part of a business transfer.
Your use of Chrome, QuickBooks Online and Xero is also governed by those providers’ own privacy policies.
6. Retention and security
We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose described in this policy, including support, security and legal record-keeping. We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You can disable extension features, clear locally stored extension data or uninstall QuickerBar through Chrome. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal information, and to request a portable copy.
To make a privacy request, use the relevant QuickBooks help page or Xero help page and state that your message is about privacy.
8. Children
QuickerBar is a business productivity tool and is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when QuickerBar or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
