1. Accepting these terms
By installing, accessing or using QuickerBar, you agree to these terms. If you use QuickerBar for a business or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.
2. What QuickerBar provides
QuickerBar is a Chrome extension that adds shortcuts and workflow tools to QuickBooks Online and Xero. Features may include navigation tools, recent-history lists, transaction summaries, line duplication, data import or export, required-field checks and settings sync.
Features may vary by plan, accounting platform, browser version or product release. We may improve, replace or discontinue a feature where reasonably necessary.
3. Licence and accounts
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use QuickerBar for your own lawful business purposes while you comply with these terms. You remain responsible for your browser, devices, accounting-platform accounts and anyone who uses QuickerBar through them.
4. Your responsibilities
- Check transactions, summaries, imports, exports and other results before relying on or saving them.
- Keep suitable backups and follow your organisation’s approval, accounting and data-protection procedures.
- Use QuickerBar only with accounts and data you are authorised to access.
- Do not misuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, resell or attempt to bypass security or plan restrictions, except where the law expressly permits it.
- Do not use QuickerBar for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity.
5. Free and Pro services
Free features may be used without a paid subscription. If you purchase Pro, the price, billing period, renewal and cancellation information shown at checkout will also apply. Taxes may be added where required. Unless the checkout terms say otherwise, cancelling stops future renewal and access continues until the end of the paid period.
6. Third-party services
QuickerBar depends on third-party services including Google Chrome, QuickBooks Online and Xero. Their availability, interfaces and terms are outside our control. Changes made by a third party may temporarily affect QuickerBar.
QuickerBar is independent software and is not endorsed by, affiliated with or operated by Google, Intuit or Xero. Their names and trade marks belong to their respective owners.
7. Imported and exported data
QuickerBar helps you prepare, import, export and move data, but it does not independently verify the source data or decide whether an accounting treatment is correct. Before you save, post, submit, file or otherwise rely on any data handled by QuickerBar, you must check it against the source records and confirm that it is accurate, complete, correctly mapped and suitable for its intended purpose.
Your checks should include, where relevant, transaction dates, amounts, currencies, customer or supplier details, nominal accounts, products and services, VAT or tax codes, classes, locations, duplicate entries and opening or closing balances. We recommend testing an import with a small sample first and keeping an appropriate backup that can be restored.
You are responsible for correcting any entry created from inaccurate source data, an incorrect mapping or setting, or an import that you approved without completing reasonable checks.
8. Accounting decisions
QuickerBar is a productivity tool, not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing the accuracy and suitability of every entry and for obtaining professional advice where needed.
9. Availability and warranties
We aim to keep QuickerBar reliable and useful, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuickerBar is provided “as available” and without warranties not expressly stated in these terms.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for financial loss, loss of profit, revenue, business or data, tax liabilities, penalties, interest, professional fees, duplicated, omitted or incorrect transactions, or the cost of correcting records, to the extent that the loss arises from:
- inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable source data;
- a mapping, setting, selection or instruction supplied or approved by you;
- your failure to review the result, test an import or keep an appropriate backup; or
- the availability, output or behaviour of QuickBooks Online, Xero, Chrome or another third-party service.
We are also not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss that could reasonably have been avoided by checking a result or restoring an appropriate backup.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using QuickerBar at any time by uninstalling it and, where relevant, cancelling your subscription. We may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary to protect the service or other users, respond to legal requirements, address non-payment or deal with a serious breach of these terms.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use QuickerBar.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these terms to reflect changes to QuickerBar, our business or the law. We will update the date at the top of this page and provide additional notice where appropriate.
Questions about these terms can be sent through the relevant QuickBooks help page or Xero help page.
